Why is EuroHash 2023 again at Castle the Berckt? |

It was used for EuroHash2011, The Brussels Beer Odyssy 2014 Pre Lube, Neptunus weekends in 2017 & 2019.

Neptunus: all rooms in the Old Castle are refurbished and the rooms have a unique roomnumber now! No more bunkbeds: 75 rooms for 2. A lot of antiques and paintings from famous painters in the corridors and halls.

What kind of beer will we get? |

Neptunus: we have an all-inclusive agreement with the castle. This means they provide the beer! Lucky for us the beer tapped in the Castle is Gulpen. Wine and softdrinks are plenty available and there will be Opee`s Cocktailbar! Whiskey, champagne etc. is (of course) not included!!

Neptunus: Call 112! The Castle has it`s own Ambulance. AED`s all over the place. First aid: we will think about that!

Neptunus: we encourages parents to bring their offspring. They are our future Hashers! So special rates for kids! Maybe even a certified nanny will be present.

Neptunus: don`t you worry! First of all; experience learned the kids will disappear all weekend! There is a huge attic where kids have TV, Playstation, couches etc. so they will be in their own world.

How difficult is it to find the venue? Can the Castle be reached easily? |

Neptunus: there are three airports nearby. Aken, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven and for Hashers from far, far away even Amsterdam-Schiphol is close. Direct train from Schiphol (Amsterdam) to Venlo. From Venlo you take the bus in front of station. Busstop is only 400 meters away from the venue. It is also okay if you come by car!

Why is Neptunus still organising Hash Weekends? |

Neptunus: because I like organising. Especially for Hashers!
Nudenuts: if Neptunus screws up he will get a down-down for it. In the normal world he would be sued!

Neptunus: Wise was used for EuroHash 2019 and 2021 and probably for a lot more hash events. Wise has a possibility to pay to an Iban number.

Why is EuroHash 2023 so expensive? |

Neptunus: In countries like The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway etc. after /during Covid it`s not possible anymore to organise something cheap! One of the reasons: Hotels and restaurants can hardly get staff/employees nowadays. During the lockdown almost everybody looked for a job in another sector. The hotels etc. have to pay a good salary nowadays. Employees don`t want to take the risk of another lockdown.
